Fly fisherman Ed Lombardo says that yesterday was one of his best striper days ever.
He was fishing shrimp imitations on the Narrow River from the Middlebridge stretch to the Sprague Bridge.
He caught a few fish on the incoming tide, but as the tide turned, the bite got red hot.
Because he fishes a point fly and a dropper, Ed had several doubles.
