"While fishing some five miles south of Block Island Sunday morning, I was able to land four cod among a host of dogfish," writes Brian Skeffington, skipper of the Judith Ann. "Two were nice 10-pound keepers and two were just a hair under the size limit.
"Jigs are the way to go, but you can't fish without a few clams on board. The two keepers were full of juvenile rock crabs, by the way.
"Lets hope the bite improves and the dogfish go somewhere else!"
