West Bay Anglers announce June tournament

Pam Tameo, president of the West Bay Anglers fishing club, has announced that the 2009 William Beaudry Jr. Memorial Striper Tournament is scheduled to run from June 6 to June 14 at 10 a.m..

The tournament will award $1,100 cash in prizes to be presented June 14 at 1 p.m. at the Warwick FOP Hall, 95 Tanner Ave. in Warwick.

Applications and rules are available at Westbayanglers.org

Weigh stations and registration sites include Erickson Brothers, John's Bait & Tackle, Lucky Bait, Ray's Bait & Tackle and The Tackle Box.

The entry fee is $25, and anglers must enter by June 5 at 5 p.m.
