Projo Fishing: HotBytes |
David S. Porreca, owner of River & Riptide Anglers, is offering a free class on fishing the cinder-worm swarm. He writes: Captain Bob Hines is back. Bob will be here Sunday, May 9 to share one of the most exciting opportunities to catch striped bass in skinny water. Bob's focus will be the cinder worm hatch; how, when, and where to target bass and what gear to use during this feeding phenomenon. Bob is an expert, and year after year, he has guided countless clients to Rhode Island estuaries to target big striped bass like they were rising trout feeding on the surface. This session will begin at noon. A one-hour slide presentation will start the seminar followed by a Q&A session. Let Bob take the guess work out of the exciting angling opportunity. The store will be well stocked with flies, leaders, & lines conducive to targeting the worms. This is a free event, however, space is limited. Please call 392-1919 and reserve your spot. We'll have fresh coffee and soft drinks available.
