"We've come off one of the best October fall runs in Rhode Island than we have seen in years," says Pat Abate of Rivers End Tackle. "Up until Wednesday's weather change, there were bass and blues on the beaches and rocks from Napatree to Narragansett. That's cooled now, but I don't think it's over yet." Pat is offering an eel-rigging seminar at his Connecticut store Thursday at 6:30 p.m. "It's free, informal and informative," he says. "If you want to recycle those dead eels and make some cow killers, stop by and get slimy. Give us a call at the shop so we can get some idea of class size: 860-388-2283." |
