Striped bass and bluefish have been feeding in the surf for the last few days at Charlestown and Misquamicut, according to several reports.
Pete Sozek said flies have been taking fish in Ninigret Pond, too. If flies are working, then Slug-Gos and similar soft-plastic lures should be killers, too.
It appears that the autumn blitz has begun.
