Bass and blues blitz beaches

From Monahan's Dock in Narragansett to the Quonochontaug Breachway, bass and bluefish have been herding bait.

The blitzes haven't been huge, but they are frequent.

This afternoon, Ed Hughes caught schoolie bass and some good-sized blues in Narragansett and at the East Wall.

Yesterday afternoon, there were large bass blitzing along Central Beach in Charlestown. They were looking for small lures.
