"There was no drift along the beach yesterday morning, so we headed for the east side of the Block to try for some fluke there," said Thom Pelletier, skipper of the charter boat ThomCat.
"The morning was slow with mostly throwbacks, a few dogs and a billion skates. As the tide picked up so did the fishing. We wound up with two limits of fish of 20 inches to 5 pounds. Green Monstas and Glow Daddys with squid strips and shiners were the most popular offerings."
