Shore fishermen are catching keeper bass on clam worms, clam tongues and clam bellies this weekend on the Seekonk River from Omega Dam to the Red Bridge, says David Henault of Ocean State Tackle. The school Street Bridge and Parent's Marina are good spots to fish. Schoolies were taking pearl and fluorescent plastic shad at the bridges over the Barrington and Warren Rivers, too, but the Seekonk is a better bet. A few schoolies were taken this morning at Charlestown Breachway. Calendar of events Tautog season opens Tuesday through May 31.
