Ray Stachelek, usually skipper of the charter boat Castafly, fished as a guest aboard another boat over the weekend and caught his first keeper bass of the season. His report:

"Steve DeNova was nice enough to invite me aboard his vessel, the "Cant Anker Us" for my first bass trip of the season. Between the two of us, we nailed 13 bass on a dropping tide in the Seekonk River. Most of the fish were in depths of 7 feet along the shallow shores. We did catch one about 8 pounds. A good Clouser pattern works with a little olive, green, white, and black in it."
