Jack Richards reports:
My son Brendan had Friday off from school, and hit Wickford town beach for schoolies to 22 inches. Then headed to Sandy Pt & Goddard Park for a few more schoolies. All caught from shore using 7-1/2-inch pink Sluggo. Sat.& Sun.I got to fish with him on a few of the South County Ponds. We had great success with Sluggos and he switched to a white Tattoo sea pup & Tattoo Jr. swimmer and a small needle fish. We had 33 fish between us. The largest were a few 33 inch bass, all tagged & released. Sun. brought more of the same. In 2 hrs. we tallied 27 more fish to 32 inches all on the same lures. At one point he had 5 fish over 28-inch limit. The largest was13 lbs. All these were also tagged and released. Hope to get back a few nights after work.
